There was one in the bed and the little one said...

I am in my bed at the moment, which is a double bed. If I could fit a queen bed in this room I'd have one, but alas, a queen bed would mean I wouldn't be able to open my wardrobe doors. As I write this I am tucked up in one side of the bed, and on the other side there are two books, two journals, a Bible, four DVDs, an envelope and two pens. Plus my laptop which is on my lap, obviously.

It's official. I can never marry. I mean, come on... where the heck would I put all my stuff?? ;-)

Or a different perspective; you would have to meet a pretty special man to justify moving all you stuff somewhere else :)

Good perspective! But there's always the thing - if you don't find that pretty special man, you've always got places to put your stuff. Win-win.

Wow. I bet you could add a cup of tea on the bedside table and nobody would spill it. Or stand on your books, fingerprint your DVDs, steal your pens or rip the fine pages of your Bible.

Not that motherhood has scarred me at all! But it does sound nice.

And I'm sure Mr Right would buy you a house big enough for a bedside table next to a King Sized bed!

I have two bedside tables... they contain several other books, pens, notebooks etc, plus my lovely, hot, unspilled cup of tea. :)

Actually, perhaps this just means I need to tidy up a bit more often.

Ha ha, loved this post and am kind of guilty of doing the same.

this is part of the reason i've persisted with a single bed - hopefully, when (if) i get married and graduate to a queen- or king-sized bed, it wil be that much easier to share it.
