This photo was taken inside without a flash so the quality and colours aren't great but you get the idea... this is the way the painting ended up.

...which is Latin for 'empty words'... but don't let that put you off.
• I love God and I strive to be like Jesus. I fail a lot at this, but am happy that God loves me anyway. • I am turning 40 this year but trying not to have a crisis about that. • I am constitutionally incapable of opening a packet from the 'wrong' end. • I read a lot and have been known to flick ahead a few chapters when I'm worried about the fate of one of the characters. • I paint a little, write a little and knit a little; and I don't mind that my enthusiasm far outweighs my talent. • I find grammatical and literary jokes hilariously funny. Apparently this makes me a total geek. • I like meeting new bloggers and will happily visit your blog if you leave a comment.

Ohhh, I thought you were going with the off-centre single gerbra - that is what I was expecting. But this looks good too.
I wanted to go with the off-centre single gerbera but was requested to put something in to 'fill up the space'. Sigh. At one point there was a suggestion that all the women who attend the day could SIGN the painting in the 'empty' part and it could hang in the church foyer as a reminder of the day. I said if anyone wrote on my painting I was going to tattoo their children.... so that idea was quickly discarded!
I think it looks beautiful! You are very talented!
( I may also have to steal the idea for a Women Wellness & Wellbeing day... I am the leader of our womens ministry...
Oh my. That is wonderful.
