For those who pray...

...and for those who don't...

I'm travelling a hard path in counselling. The fact that I'm ready to go down this path at all is great (in two years of counselling I've only touched on these things briefly a few times) and I know that ultimately it will be very helpful, but honestly... the process is excruciating.

Accepting prayers, good wishes and positive vibes.

Thanks.

Hi Sister,

I stumbled on your post quite by accident - or maybe not as God as been pretty full-on this morning! I wish I could recall all the scripture that surfaced in my mind when I read and felt your words. What I can share is this: In my journey with Christ it has been the belief in Him being in control of all areas of my life, forgiveness and prayer that has turned all things in my life into good. These are scriptures that made a big difference for me as I had to keep reminding myself of them. I pray they are a blessing to you :-)

Perseverance : I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me. (Phi 4:13)

Faith in answered prayer:
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
(1 John 5:14-15)

I also have found God loves worship and thanksgiving and often moves in my life powerfully when I worship more.

Okay, that's it - the last time I don't bother turning on my computer to check blogs for a couple of days - things go pear-shaped for my friends when I don't turn my computer on or check blogs for a couple of days.

Will pray.

It's tough when God walks with you through years of problems, instead of just whipping them all away. I wish he would for you.

Til then, be encouraged! You'll get there! And we're all with you!
